Sérgio F Paulo graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2001 from Instituto Superior Técnico ([http://www.ist.utl.pt IST]), Lisbon. In 2009, he received a Doutor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from IST of the Technical University of Lisbon. His research interests span from optimal corpus design to automatic phonetic segmentation, with a strong emphasis on pronunciation modeling, applied to speech synthesis.

In 2009, he received a Doutor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from IST of the Technical University of Lisbon. His research interests span from optimal corpus design to automatic phonetic segmentation, with a strong emphasis on pronunciation modeling, applied to speech synthesis.
