== Abstract ==

In this talk I will present the preliminary version of SITIU (Serviço de Informação de Transportes Intra-Urbano) the Portuguese version of the Let's Go! dialogue system developed at Carnegie Mellon University. The talk will be focused on the technical issues regarding the adaptation of this platform to a new language and the modifications that were made in order to include different speech recognition and synthesis engines.
To our knowledge, this is the first time that the freely distributed dialogue system is used in other language than English.
Finally I will talk about the implementation and research issues still pending and the plans regarding the development of SITIU.
