EUTV - Adaptive Channels in Europe
About euTV
EUTV plans to perform research and develop and deploy the best-of-class extractors for indexing and analysing the individual information modalities (text, speech, audio, image, video), perform research on multimodal feature fusion of the individual extractors exploiting structural characteristics of the multimedia streams and the content domains (i.e. news, sport, documentaries) and descriptions about concepts modelled into ontologies. The EUTV framework will be based on service-oriented architecture so to be able to easily update extractors when better versions are available.
EUTV is a 24 month project within the FP7-SME-2010-1 program, joining the expertise of three RTD partners and three SMEs.
