| Patrícia Pereira graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineering from [https://tecnico.ulisboa.pt/pt/ Instituto Superior Técnico] (IST), and received a MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from IST and a MSc degree in Systems, Control and Robotics from [https://www.kth.se KTH Royal Institute of Technology], in 2020. In that year, she joined a PhD Programme under the Multilingual AI Agent Assistants (MAIA) project, a joint CMU/INESC-ID/IT/Unbabel collaboration. Her PhD work focuses on Empathetic Dialogue Systems.
