This is a 3 year position, starting in April 2015.
INSIDE is a joint research project involving Portuguese academic/industrial partners and the Carnegie Mellon University. The project explores symbiotic child-robot interactions in joint cooperative activities, with application to the treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder impairments.
Your role would be related to speech processing in environmentally challenging conditions and with limited adaptation data available. Research will be focused on static and dynamic adaptation of models starting from our current research on deep learning and observation uncertainty techniques.
