Paula Cristina Vaz graduated in Systems and Informatics Engineering in 1994 from [http://www.di.uminho.pt/ Universidade do Minho] (UM), Braga. She received an MSc degree in 1999, on compiler generators from UM. She was a lecturer at University Lusófona and Instituto Politécnico de Setubal, teaching Programming Languages and worked at Altitude. She is currently a researcher at the Spoken Language Systems Lab (L2F) of INESC-ID where she was co-developping a dependency grammar for the portuguese language. Her current research interests are emotion verb extraction, semantic analysis, and automatic semantica role labelling.
