| == Abstract ==

|
| |
| In this talk I will present the preliminary version of SITIU (Serviço de Informação de Transportes Intra-Urbano) the Portuguese version of the Let's Go! dialogue system developed at Carnegie Mellon University. The talk will be focused on the technical issues regarding the adaptation of this platform to a new language and the modifications that were made in order to include different speech recognition and synthesis engines.
| |
| To our knowledge, this is the first time that the freely distributed dialogue system is used in other language than English.
| |
| Finally I will talk about the implementation and research issues still pending and the plans regarding the development of SITIU.
