L²F - INESC ID Lisboa Events What's New...

INESC ID's Spoken Language Systems Laboratory (L²F - Laboratório de sistemas de Língua Falada) was created in January 2001, bringing together several research groups which could potentially add relevant contributions to the area of computational processing of spoken language for Portuguese.

This strongly interdisciplinary group is actively involved in many areas of spoken language research and development, including speech recognition, speech synthesis, speech coding, speech understanding, audio indexation, multimodal dialogue systems, language and dialect identification, and speech-to-speech machine translation, among others, combined with expertise in many core areas of Natural Language Processing. Its work has been internationally recognized through close cooperation with other research centers in Europe and in the United States, as well as through the recent organization of INTERSPEECH'2005

O IST vai realizar, de 12 de Janeiro a 7 de Julho de 2007, um Curso de Especialização em Design para a Diversidade, em colaboração com o Centro Português de Design e a Fundação Liga.

Este curso conta com a participação do European Institute for Design and Disability e da Design For All Foundation
