• HLT VPN - VPN connections require authentication with INESC-ID credentials, Do not change the file. When connecting, disable certificate checks. Importing from certain versions of the official version of the OpenVPN application (at least, on Android and MacOS) may fail over HTTPS. If that happens, first download the file with a browser to local storage and import the file afterwards with the application.

PhD related stuff

In recent years, speech recognition is a branch of speech processing of increasing importance. The technological advances and in the recognition systems allows to use computers for transcribing large quantities of speech, which are allways produced in meetings, classes or television news. The proposal for this PhD is centered in the enrichement of the information from the speech recognition, in order to produce refined transcriptions, suitable for example, for the production of multimedia contents
